It meets the "Borosilicate Glass-1" standard specified by JIS, and is a glass with excellent chemical durability and heat resistance. It does not contain any heavy metals such as lead, zinc, or cadmium, nor does it use sulfurous acid or antimony, which are commonly used as foam agents in regular glass.
